TERRITORY PROTECTION

At Griffy & Drake, we have years of experience in the direct sales industry and understand the challenges small business owners face when they are one in a sea of others selling the same brand in their area. We want to set all of our Retailers up for success, which is why we limit the number of Retailers we have in any given area.

HOW DO WE DO THIS

Each time someone applies to be a Griffy & Drake Retailer, their application is compared against all current Retailers. When we do this, we look at the zip code for their physical address if they have elected to sell in person. Our general rule is we do not allow more than one Retailer in a zip code for in person sales. On rare occasions, we may allow one more, but that would depend on that area’s population.

CAN I SELL OUTSIDE OF MY ZIP CODE?

Yes, you are more than welcome to sell outside of your zip code, but you must first do a little research. We simply ask that you look at our Retailer Directory to see if there is another Retailer in that zip code first. If there is not, you are welcome to attend pop ups or other temporary events. Please note if you have a permanent location, that must remain in the zip code you were approved for, or you must secure an additional zip code if you are planning to sell in multiple locations.

WHAT ABOUT ONLINE SALES?

Online sales are unlimited, so you call sell anywhere to anyone.

HOW ARE TERRITORIES MONITORED

Each month, we ask that our Retailers meet a $100 monthly minimum ordering requirement. The main purpose of this requirement is to ensure that anyone holding a territory is an active Retailer. If someone is not active, their territory will be released and open for a new Retailer to apply for. This is our way of making sure that no one is holding a territory that they are not actively selling in.
